In the Heaven of the mouth

Synopsis
A poem by Pedro García Cabrera (Poeta gomero. 1905-1981) is the lighthouse that begins this story. A man sits on a chair next to a table making paper boats while the music of a psaltery envelops the space with an ancient aroma. The man who makes the paper boats stands up and begins to mix the sidereal spaces with the courtyard where he grew up. His father and grandmothers become planets, stars and clusters. A wealth of small stories to talk about the great and unknown.

Agarrando la muerte
con las manos

Synopsis
‘Agarrando la muerte con las manos’ is a palm tree expression I heard a good friend of El Paso say.
With this title we are going to present a handful of stories, where death and life are mixed with laughter and emotions.
Many of these stories I have already told in other palabreros but this time, with Piroska Duque on the cello and a staging, we want to bring you, between story and story, the history of our legacy in the Canary Islands, the origin and tradition of this day of the deceased, our heritage is a fire that we have to keep burning without it being extinguished.

The incredible story of a cisco in my father's throat
.jpg)
Sinopsis

A Strange World,
a small story

Synopsis
Un mundo raro, un cuento chiquito is a storytelling show where the memories of a child take us to a courtyard that was filled with women who narrated life as if it were nothing. The narrator's voice is guided by the memory of that child who speaks of the earth, the landscape and the stars. In short, the narrator tells the story of life because he believes that all lives deserve to be told.
