Synopsis

Under the direction of Oswaldo Bordón, this production by the Tenerife-based company Hojarasca is a ritual encounter between theatre and nature. It is a contemporary anthropological drama in which the languages of the body, dance, words, lighting, music and diverse sound effects are integrated. A drama that reconstructs the cavern of the night of the times where scenic art was born.  It will take place on Friday 8 November, with a great acting team on stage with performers such as Juan Carlos Tacoronte, Carlos Pedrós and Paloma Hurtado, among others.

Hojarasca is a theatre company created and directed by Oswaldo Bordón, supported by Laboratorio Escénico. It was born as a result of years of research and experimentation in the performing arts, exploring collective creation and the social impact of theatre.

Its interdisciplinary proposal integrates different artistic languages with an introspective vision committed to society, addressing anthropological and inclusive aspects in a world in constant evolution.

More than a company, Hojarasca is a space for intergenerational encounters, a creative laboratory where art comes to life with authenticity and passion. Its philosophy is based on individual and collective commitment, understanding the artistic process as a way of inhabiting and transforming the world.
