Another case is Juan Carlos Tacoronte, who, in evoking rural life and the centrality of the domestic courtyard on the islands, takes us back to a fairy-tale time where everything that happens takes on a mythical dimension. The fields, women, deformed beings, volcanoes, the sea everywhere, all attain the brilliance that comes with craftsmanship. Few elements, more atmospheres than effects, and a trained voice and body are enough to display technique and virtuoso craftsmanship in a minimalist discourse that encompasses depth and beauty.
